We are an urgent care and occupational care facility. Located in Long Island, close to Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan, our Center is approximately 15-20 min. from JFK airport. This great location allows for easy access to and to and from all major highways parkways and major public transportation including the LIRR.The facility is approximately 4,500 sqft consisting of a large waiting room, reception area, two offices, nursing stations, 7 private exam rooms, 3 bathrooms and a surgical suite.

We provide a wide range of services from preventive medicine to urgent medical treatment for illness and workers compensation.Hempstead Main Medical Center (HMMC) is in full compliance with the procedures and policies regarding DOT drug testing. We administer urine drug testing as per DOT guidelines.

There is a certified MRO (Medical Review Officer) in house. One of our physicians is a disability specialist who can provide disability evaluation.Hempstead Main Medical Center is staffed at all times with a physician, nurse, P.A., and a medical technician. We are equipped whit our own EKG, 24 hour blood pressure monitor, audiometer, Spiro meter (PFT), and mobile oxygen concentrator. There are plans to provide in house radiology and laboratory services.
